Carolyn Rogers is based in Ashgrove, Brisbane and she has been registered as a Psychologist for over 19 years with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA). She also has advanced training in Psychology and has an Endorsement in Counselling Psychology with the PBA. Before training as a Psychologist, Carolyn was a Registered Nurse and she worked in a variety of healthcare settings over many years.

Carolyn understands medical terminology, she knows about medical conditions and is very interested in the body-mind connection. Apart from treating mental health conditions like depression and anxiety, Carolyn is very experienced in helping clients with weight management and food addiction. She uses a holistic approach in her work as a Psychologist which incorporates mindfulness-based psychological therapies, energy psychology, sound science, nutrition and a good dose of pragmatism.



Carolyn has advanced training in Counselling Psychology and she is skilled in evidence-based psychological treatments which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT (a mindfulness-based cognitive therapy), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Schema-focused Therapy. She has  advanced training in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping) which are evidence-based treatments which can quickly and effectively reduce stress and produce lasting behaviour change. 

Carolyn is a graduate of QUT and Bond University and she holds the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) with Honours (Post-Grad) Bond University
  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) QUT
  • Accredited IPT Therapist International Society of Interpersonal Psychotherapy
